    I tried to visit recently and there was a sign saying they are moving! The spot that replaced this one is great, but that little side salad was the best I've ever had. I am sort of down to just have a bowl of the dressing as a soup. The rolls are so good! A lot of basil and garlic which is my jam, the fish was always fresh and buttery. I never got a chance to try the vegan rolls but my friends swore they were top tier. I added two photos from my last visits but i don't remember the names of the rolls but trust me they were good as hell. The staff were also nice to me and all the patrons each time i visited. Hope to see this place in their new location asap.

    4.5 stars rounded up. A huge vegan section of the menu that features both faux fish as well as creative vegetable rolls. Service can be at the table or at the counter, very casual but they are helpful with suggestions. We started with the miso soup, which had a hearty base with seaweed and tofu (excellent) and the steamed vegetable gyoza served with a very sour sauce (pass). This visit, we got the Rainbow Goblin, Missing Piece, and Cuerno de Chivo rolls. All 3 were superb and would highly recommend. Everything was very fresh and the had a good mix of flavors and textures (the nuts were a great touch!) We'll be returning here whenever we visit Santa Cruz.

    This place is a great place to experience. The food is amazing, fresh and memorable. Joey made the experience all more welcoming which made us feel like we were home. Do not come to Santa Cruz without coming here.

    Was debating between 3 and 4 stars, but going with 4 because my hesitancy is really due to lack of information. We got take out. It was quick. I liked my Inari, and was mostly just happy they have it because a lot of places don't . Philadelphia, and Rainbow roll were both solid. I particularly enjoyed the HWY 1 roll. The Ebi tempura roll was not quite a good - we wondered if maybe part of it was it wasn't crispy enough because we let it sit at home for an hour before eating it?
